Camille and Matthew’s December wedding at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas was a study in layered design, vintage fashion, and cinematic storytelling. Blending high production with intimate, unscripted moments, their celebration embodied the kind of luxury Dallas wedding that feels both grand and deeply personal.
The aesthetic direction began with a single reference image that informed every detail: layered ruffles, warm neutral tones, sculptural draping, and texture woven throughout the space. From hand-calligraphed menus to custom lampshades and chandeliers, the design echoed itself in subtle, intentional ways across the Rosewood Mansion reception.
The weekend opened with a rehearsal dinner at Hotel Swexan before transitioning to the wedding day at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. For the rehearsal dinner, Camille wore a vintage 2000s Atelier Aimee gown paired with blue Manolo Blahnik mules that picked up on the delicate blue beading throughout the dress.
On the wedding day, she chose a vintage 2006 Vera Wang gown styled with classic white slingback Manolo Blahnik heels. For the after party, she changed into a vintage Gene Shelley number. All three gowns were sourced from Happy Isles Salon and styled by Gabrielle Hurwitz, creating a cohesive, editorial fashion story that carried through the entire Dallas wedding weekend.
The reception space at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek drew audible awe from guests. Dramatic draping framed the stage, warm lighting layered over crisp white paper goods, and every detail from embossed menus to bar signage carried the same softness against structure.
The night closed with a private last dance beneath the glowing lights of the empty reception tent. A quiet, emotional ending to a Dallas wedding defined by intention, artistry, and thoughtful design.
