Surrounded by the preservation of memories her entire life, every moment of Christina’s childhood was documented by her grandpa. From the mundane to the monumental, his candid photos expressed life the way he saw it. He showed Christina the importance of capturing ordinary life, while her grandma shared stories through old family albums and framed photographs. Together, they taught Christina to honor one’s legacy while instilling a deep respect for her own heritage.

As an endlessly curious child, it didn’t take long for Christina to follow in her grandpa’s footsteps and pick up a camera. While her early inspiration came from dressing up her cousins in playful fashion numbers for elaborate photo shoots, Christina's inherent pull towards photography would carry forward to her education and career. She received a BFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and worked as a photo editor for various magazines, a studio manager for commercial photographers, and shot editorials for numerous household publications.

While wearing many hats and evolving in each role, Christina gained invaluable experience in advertising, publishing, art direction, and editing. In 2013, she emerged as the creative director of the popular wedding blog Snippet & Ink, where she absorbed every aspect of the wedding industry and inspired hundreds of thousands of people planning their own unique celebrations. Her time at Snippet & Ink not only strengthened her belief in the significance of family legacy, but the role photography plays in sharing our stories in the most genuine way.

Christina’s work is inspired by her love of people — the thinkers, the doers, the movers and the shakers. She’s energized by life itself, the peace, the stillness, the chaos, and the power of conversation, all woven together in a complex, intangible way. With an innate ability to see all sides of a coin, she’s an outlier who’s never afraid to stand out from the crowd. Christina feels the depth of people’s emotions and senses the magic of a split-second feeling, packaged in an unforgettable memory. Her love of street photography is a constant influence in her work, continually seeking the movement, the realness, and spontaneity of her subjects.

When she's not photographing weddings, Christina actively works to slow down and be present. While her perfect day is spent sitting on her deck drinking coffee with her husband and three Great Danes, you’d also find her at a little café in Italy, people watching and sipping champagne. She lives in San Francisco and takes full advantage of its proximity to her happy place, the beach.
