Missy and Ben wed in the backyard of a friend’s home in San Francisco, and their ceremony was officiated by a rabbi who their families had known for years. A romantic, lush floral installation designed by Elise of Shannon Leahy Events made their wedding feel warm, intimate, and entirely like them, down to the matching Converse sneakers they wore as part of their outfits. Following the ceremony, we stopped by the Lyon Street Steps for some iconic San Francisco photographs, before heading back to Missy and Ben’s apartment for dinner.

Elise had also reimagined their living room as an elegant private dining space for a seven-course meal prepared by Componere Fine Catering. When they walked in and saw the complete transformation of their apartment, their gratitude was overwhelming. You can see the pure disbelief in their faces that this beautiful room had been created just for them. The happiness and awe in the way Missy clutches her hands against her heart is absolutely unforgettable.
