Forewarning, this is probably my biggest post ever. There are just way too many favorites that I can’t not share! Last year I had the honor of photographing Hannah & Andrew’s wedding in Atlanta, Georgia. Hannah’s sister is Emily, the editor and owner of the wedding blog Once Wed. I was beyond ecstatic to be their photographer and it was evident the moment we chatted on the phone why were were such a match. This wedding is so special to me: it’s bold, unique, lively and the photos all tell such a wonderful energized story. Lots of fun film cameras were used to create this wedding! This is so exciting!! My photo from Lora & Grant’s Napa Valley Elopement won FIRST PLACE in the Candids category in PDN‘s Top Knots contest 2014. Thank you PDN for such a high honor!!!

Holly & Michael are a power couple; young, hip, talented and having a great fashion sense is definitely understated. They’re awesome boutique was featured as Daily Candy’s 2008 “Sweetest Things” for best style! With a great sense of style and fashion, Holly and Michael were in search of the perfect wedding photographer. They didn’t want “typical wedding” photos they wanted avant-guard, they wanted fashion and they were excited to hire me for the job. It was such an exciting wedding to work on because I was so passionate about the couple, their love and the story they wanted their friends and family to enjoy and share.

Last week my grandparent’s amazing love story, where in May will span 55 years, was featured on one of my favorite blogs Snippet & Ink. Maybe I am biased, be they look pretty darn cute to me. I really can’t get over how elegant she looks and how stunning her dress is! Scroll down to see an 8mm film of their cake cutting ceremony.

They were married at Star Chapel Methodist Church on May 24, 1958 in St. Joseph Missouri.

Last year I spent an incredible two days with twenty seven other amazingly talented photographers at Phoot Camp. It took place in this ridiculously awesome mansion in the Los Angeles hills. Actually, the home was once owned by rockstar Duff from Guns N Roses; the new owners decided to keep the decor trapped in the eighties-hay day. (rad for us photographers). Amazing friendships and long lasting relationships definitely materialized.
