Just a little ranunculus inspiration for you today! Thanks Twig & Twine for the yummy florals.
In this photo, Grant is on the phone with his mom verifying her maiden name for their documents while Lora is filling out her portion. The American flags lining the ceiling in the county clerks recorder’s office felt 1950′s Americana to me and I had to shoot it. Happy to see this very real moment selected! Thank you again, PDN and to all the amazing judges this year including Abby Larson, Kristen Walsh, Rebecca Crumley, Michael McCormick and Naima DiFranco! Beyond thrilled, thank you!! See the winners gallery online, or pick up a copy of the magazine at Barnes & Noble!
Lora & Grant’s Napa Valley elopement last year had to be one of the most memorable weddings I’ve shot to date. They originally had a large wedding planned in Lyons, Colorado, but because of the devastating flooding last year, their plans changed course! [ You can read more about Lora's perspective on Snippet & Ink!] Their wedding ultimately ended up being exactly what they wanted, and I was so honored to be their witness and their photographer!
Thank you Kathryn for introducing me to your sister — and for the wonderful post on your blog, Snippet & Ink!
